Last night I watched the movie Apaloosa and I've now had my fill of westerns to last me a while. It was an interesting movie, I thoroughly enjoyed Viggo Mortensen and Ed Harris's characters, their banter was hilarious but since this was based on a book I really don't think this movie caught the flavour of the book (although I've never read it). There was something to it that was missing and it didn't seem to bother me that Doug and I were both "computering" while watching it. Usually if I'm watching a movie nothing is going to interfere or can for that matter.
I'm going to do some digging online and figure out what I should make for dinner tonight.

brain power glitches
I am determined to finish unpacking from our move into this condo about a year and a half ago. You know how there are always a couple of boxes that get shoved into a corner somewhere and are never thought of again? Well, There are a couple of those in the den/library and living room/dining room and I'm sick of it. Absolutely sick of it. So today I'm going to tackle the den/library (don't quite have any other word to describe the room in the front of the main floor), I'm going to add all of our new(er) books to the bookcases, toss a bunch of stuff in the recycling/shredding and have at least one room looking like I want it to look.
I've been thinking lately about how I'm going to get my ass in gear and start putting together Heather and mine's photo albums from out trip to Dominican Republic last year before I even think of the pictures from Doug and mine's trip to Mexico a month ago. Would making myself some sort of daily or weekly schedule help me in some way? I wonder.
I've also been thinking about my writing, my story that keeps telling itself in my head but won't necessarily find itself through my fingers, onto my laptop. Inspiration, is it out there?
A line from Angel: The Series keeps going through my head: "What's a rogue demon?" Too much of an inside joke? Well, never mind then.

movie of the past about the future
I'm watching Demolition Man man on tv and laughing my butt off. Do you remember this movie? So dumb, so silly. Taco Bell won the franchise wars? Ha ha ha.

Dough
Tonight I'm going to make homemade deep dish Chicago style pizza. First task is to make the pizza dough, I love the bread maker for this, bread making with one's own hands can be long and tedious.

an new author
I've recently discovered a new "smut" author that I think I'm really enjoying. Her name is Mary Balogh and I'm on a second book of hers. I first read Web of Love and now I'm reading The Devil's Wed. So far they are a little different than your average smut book, the concept of friends turning into lovers is a lot easier to digest than the usual "sworn enemies" kind of stuff. I like reading smut books, they're almost always a usual fun and easy read. Sometimes I need that break between the headier books I tend to read as well.
